Who would you be today without the opportunity you had to play?

Play_Priceless

For millions of children living in some of the worst conditions in the world, sport and play can help them to develop self-esteem, build confidence, learn tolerance, and give them hope for a better future.

In a 2009 evaluation in Benin, Ghana and Mali, we learned that children participating in regular sport and play programs are 62 per cent more likely to report feeling good about themselves versus 49 per cent of children that do not participate in regular activity.

Your donation does make a difference. With your help, we can continue to ensure that chilren have access to regular structured sport and play activties that help them to develop self esteem, a sense of belonging and become role models for other children. It doesn't take much to make a huge difference in a child's life.

“The child is becoming more aware of their importance and place in the world. They see competencies in themselves that are developing. Before, the child didn’t know that they may have had a certain skill or talent, but through RTP games they’ve come to discover such skillsand this has given them the ability to value themselves and they can better service their community.” Right To Play Partner, Benin

When children play, the world wins. That's why MasterCard has made it part of their mission to support Right To Play.  Sport and play teaches important life skills such as teamwork, co-operation and fairness. Together we can help children affected by war, poverty and disease grow to be healthier, happier people.
